Lebanese Fattoush Salad

One of the most wonderful salads in the world. Fattoush takes regular salad items: leaves, tomatoes and cucumbers and invigorates them with sour pomegranate dressing and crunchy fried pita.

Fattoush is enjoyed in many Levantine countries, and its original purpose was to use up stale bread. Arabic breads are baked and sold fresh in the morning and are often stale by dinner time that day.…
